During my 2+ years with one of the world’s leading music streaming services, the company evolved from a “set it and forget it” model of radio into a highly interactive and engaging listening experience. I wrote hundreds of broadcast commercials, spearheaded the development of Tone+Voice guidelines for a company-wide brand refresh, collaborated with audio producers to create custom content for high-spend advertisers, and supported brand, marketing, and consumer insights initiatives.

I collaborated with the Product Marketing team to design a campaign that educated users about new features, and offered a refresher course about the basics. 

Project: Audio Ads

I collaborated with advertising clients to understand their product offering and target demographics, determine the best emotional direction and tone to capture their brand, and craft :30 voiceover scripts to be trafficked to millions of listeners. Here are a few of my favorites. 

Project: Ford Country built custom content station

Winner, "Best Music Integrated Ad Campaign," Interactive Advertising Competition (IAC) 

Pandora's custom content stations give advertisers the opportunity to curate and create artist content that aligns with their brand. Ford was looking for a unique and memorable way to market the new F-150, so we created "Ford Country Built," an episodic station that explores the legacy and future of varying genres of country music. 

We tapped Nashville musician and podcaster Otis Gibbs to host the station, interview artists, and tell the stories behind Rockabilly, Outlaw Country, and American Roots music. 

As lead writer on this project I crafted all scripts for all segments, from Otis's history lessons about iconic country artists to artist drops to the Ford F-150 audio and banner ads embedded in the station. Below are some sample clips.
