Amplified Lifestyles had a unique problem. Business was thriving for this team of luxury home electronics systems designers, but they had absolutely zero brand identity. The company already served a roster of elite clientele and was eager to go after commercial business, but were experiencing a lot of confusion about their offering. Were they technicians? Client service providers? Did they sell fancy gadgets? Turns out the answer was both all of and none of the above.
The project's lead designer and I developed a beautiful brand that's imbued with deep meaning. The logo takes inspiration from the Greek letter lambda, which is used in physics to represent wavelength. Icons are inspired by alchemy. Every piece of messaging supports our new brand principles of rare accessibility, sleek simplicity, and enduring integrity. We even convinced them to abbreviate their company name to Amplified whenever possible, also in support of these brand principles. The members of the Amplified team — all men with decades of design and technology experience — were impressed. One of them even teared up at our brand reveal. We consider that a huge marker of success.
